Hawksbill sea turtle monitoring and conservation

We explore the rocky reefs of Costa Rica's northern pacific coast looking for critically endangered hawksbill sea turtles. We have currently identified several sites that are important feeding grounds for juvenile hawksbill sea turtles that will stay there until they grow into adulthood. Securing the protection of these sites is crucial for the long term survival of this species in the Pacific Ocean.
