Noida Wetland Protection (Dhanauri and Surajpur)

The Surajpur and Dhanauri Wetlands, crucial habitats for migratory birds and diverse wildlife, face severe threats from invasive hyacinth plants, sewage pollution, and habitat loss due to nearby construction. This project aims to restore these wetlands by removing invasive species, reducing pollution, and establishing protective measures against habitat encroachment. Objectives: Eradicate invasive hyacinth and restore native vegetation. Collaborate with authorities to reduce sewage and industrial waste inflow. Raise awareness and minimize construction impacts near the wetlands.
