app.kba-coverage.contributions.title 94.4%
The "Adopt a Cedar Tree" program at the Shouf Biosphere Reserve aims to support the conservation of the iconic Cedrus libani, or Lebanese cedar, within the reserve's "Immortal Cedar Forest". Participants in this program can adopt a cedar tree, which will bear their name on a plaque placed nearby. Each sponsor receives a certificate with a unique serial number and a renewable five-year membership for free entrance to the reserve. This initiative contributes directly to reforestation and ecosystem preservation efforts, helping to maintain the health and sustainability of one of Lebanon’s most significant natural treasures
