"Together" – Towards a sustainable living through local and naturally derived agricultural products relying on sustainable methods that preserve the ecosystems.

"Together – Towards Sustainable Living through Local and Naturally Derived Agricultural Products Using Sustainable Methods" project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented in Lebanon by the World Food Programme (WFP). This project aimed to promote economic growth and inclusive social development in the Shouf area. Several training sessions were conducted in collaboration with local entities, NGOs, municipalities, the Baakline Official Agricultural Technical School, the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute, and agricultural cooperatives. Training topics were selected based on the region's needs, aligning with the vision of the reserve. These were identified through three different assessments conducted by the association over the past two years: a market study, a value chain study, and a sustainable agriculture roadmap.
