Vulture Program Nepal

app.kba-coverage.contributions.title 97.8%

The aim of this project is to contribute to the recovery of the vulture population in Nepal through a partnership between the Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB) and Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN). BCN vulture conservation activities incorporate a range of actions including overseeing support to the Conservation Breeding Programme at Kasara, Chitwan, release activities and Vulture Safe Zone activities, as well as other awareness and advocacy work throughout Nepal. This project will support the tracking of tagged captive bred and wild vultures and the maintenance and expansion of the Vulture Safe Zone in Nepal.
