Biodiversity conservation through community mobilisation and building sustainable livelihoods for three selected IBAs in Nepal

Biodiversity conservation through community mobilisation and building sustainable livelihoods, targeting communities bordering three Important Bird Areas (IBAs), in Nepal. The project (i) will strengthen civil society structures around the IBAs and (ii) is expected to lead to enhanced community involvement in biodiversity conservation and (iii) a number of community businesses that demonstrate that sustainable income can be significantly enhanced through the project’s approach.
