YAE has been working in the major four thematic areas: Environmental Management, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, Water Resource, and Forest and Biodiversity conservation. Under each theme, YAE focused on Capacity building, Evidence Based Policy Advocacy, Research and Innovation and Livelihood promotion to achieve the sustainable development goal. YAE focused on participatory, inclusive and transparent approach while executing program and projects. We have implemented the integrated fish farming, with the objective to conserve the native fish sps. in natural river and supplement fish demand through the community ponds. Likewise, we are implementing the project for water sources protection and restoration through the community mobilization. Developing the local adaptation plan of action for climate change adaptation and its implementations, Indigenous people engagement in the conservation also one the major project for YAE.
